Your store didn't have this recliner on the showroom floor for me to sit in and "try it out" so I bought it sight unseen. If this recliner had been on the showroom floor and I sat in it, I probably wouldn't have bought it, but that's on me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely chair, not for short people, VOC off-gassing Bought this so I could share with my pets. Had to buy it sight-unseen, since the store didn't have one on site. it's large and comfortable, as I wanted, but it's definitely designed for taller people/men. The high back blocks my windows more than expected. With my shorter legs, I can't bend my knees and sit back at the same time. Reclined, it's mostly sitting straight with the feet up, great for watching a movie but I had expected the back to recline more. Delivery was great, but I had to leave all my windows open for 3-4 days to get rid of the strong VOC chemical smell. During that, sitting in the chair made me itch and cough. No complaints now, but know what you're getting into. I recommend the chair, but it's not for short people. Do try before you buy.

This was by far THE BEST quality recliner I have ever purchased. this is definitely a HEAVY DUTY recliner ! I have gone through five recliners and this by far has the best support. this is definitely a BIG BOY recliner.
