This lamp is even more spectacular in person - the color is rich, and the shape & texture make the Volongo a real statement piece. One of the other reviewers complained that it wasn't "real stone"... but who cares? It's so beautiful! This is not just a lamp - it's sculpture. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase.It's worth every penny. PS - I wanted a little more ambiance, so I used a 40 watt bulb instead of the recommended 60

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheaply made, expensive price I had high hopes for this lamp. I like the size and shape a lot and had it been made of high quality products, I would love it. Unfortunately, I agree with the person who gave it one star last year. The “ivory” is nowhere to be found on the lamp body. It is a thin, hollow, uniform gray with no variation in color of the cheap resin that was used. There is no heft to this lamp. The base was not even glued onto the body of the lamp symmetrically. I haven’t decided if I will keep it and am leaning towards repacking it for return, which is a pain. For the higher price tag it has, I’d say Uttermost has disappointed me. I won’t order another Uttermost lamp again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap Fake Stone While it is an attractive lamp from a distance, the plastic (described as ivory stone) is extremely cheap looking and feeling. I would not have paid this much for a cheap plastic lamp if I had known just how unrealistic and fake the supposed "stone" is.. I sold lighting for many years and Uttermost was one of the more popular brands, but, I see their standards are much lower. I was expecting much better quality.
